Description:
The Association for Women Geoscientists awards the Association for Women Geoscientists Minority Scholarship to underrepresented minority (African American, Hispanic, or Native American) women who are interested in/are currently working on an undergrad degree in the geosciences (which includes geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, meteorology, physical oceanography, planetary geology, or earth science education).

Vancouver Restaurant Scholarship

To be eligible for the Vancouver Restaurant Scholarship you must:
1) Be between the ages of 15 – 21, as of the July 31, 2011 deadline.
2) Be a resident of either Canada or the United States
3) Be a full time student in 2011 in either High School or College/University. (Trade Schools and 2 year programs are acceptable)

Native American Scholarships

Recently, Indian Country Today Media Network ran a story about “special scholarships” that are still available to Native American students heading to tribal colleges. We inquired and were told that Native American students may apply for these scholarships. The awards will be made by the American Indian College Fund.
