GA Scholarship Program

Description:

The Archie Fund endows each scholarship at $6,000 per year. The program provides support of an individual student through up to four years of university study, provided that he/she makes satisfactory academic progress. The program ordinarily requires a grade point average of 3.0 / 4.0 or higher for the current semester and a grade point average of 3.0 / 4.0 or higher on a cumulative basis. Students rotate off the program after 4 years of scholarship support.

NSA Scholarship Foundation

Description:

The NSA Scholarship Foundation awards an average of 35 scholarships per year in the amount of $1,000 each for accounting students entering their third or fourth year of studies, and $500 each for students entering their second year of studies.

 

These include scholarships provided by our Affiliated State Organizations (ASOs), corporate and individual donors, and other 501(c)3 organizations.

Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship

Description:

The 2011 Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship of $5,000 is available for award to one or more undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in full-time study preparing for a career in state and local government finance. The winner, if one is selected, will be invited to attend the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada’s (GFOA) annual conference in San Antonio, Texas, May 22-25, 2011, where the award will be presented.

Native American women are eligible for many college scholarships. These scholarships come from colleges, universities, private foundations, and corporations. Financial awards can take many forms, ranging from small stipends to packages that include room, board, tuition, and living expenses. The requirements for scholarships vary significantly. Some of the most prestigious scholarships for Native American women are open to other minority students. Vantagepoint Public Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Vantagepoint Public Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund, founded by ICMA-RC, provides scholarships to the surviving children and spouses of US city, county, and state public employees* who have died in service to their communities.  Applicants must enroll in and attend an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school on a full-time basis. 2010-11 WRI Scholarship

Description:

Scholarships are awarded by the WRI Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, formed for the specific purpose of funding and awarding these scholarships to qualified high school seniors, as well as current undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in structural and/or civil engineering at accredited four-year universities or colleges. Scholarships, ranging from $2,500 up to $5,000 are awarded for a specified single academic year and paid by the Foundation directly to the university or college designated by the recipient.

AISES Google Scholarship

Description:

  1. Must have a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA).
  2. Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited four year college/university, or a full- time student at a two year college enrolled in a program leading to an academic degree.
  3. Must be a member of an American Indian tribe, Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian or otherwise considered tobe an American Indian by the tribe with which affiliation is claimed; or is at least 1/4 American Indian blood; or is at least 1/4 Alaskan Native; or considered to be an Alaskan Native by an Alaskan Native group to which affiliation is claimed.
