AES Engineering Solution Scholarship

AES Engineering is pleased to be able to continue offering scholarships to motivated students to help in the furthering of their education. Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted.

FRANCES L. MOORE Nursing School Scholarship

The Frances L. Moore Scholarship is for one academic year and will be awarded to an outstanding student enrolled in a nursing program. The recipient will be selected on the basis of current academic standing and financial need. The scholarship amount will be determined according to funds available and may be renewable. The recipient for the scholarship award is a student who demonstrates potential for professional contributions to nursing and through their actions will serve as a positive role model to other nursing students.

Ambassadorial Scholarships
Monday, July 26th, 2010Description:
Scholars are required to attend at least one orientation seminar if offered in their district or region. Orientation seminars include training on developing and delivering speeches and presentations.
Study or training must be undertaken in another country or territory where there are Rotary clubs. It cannot take place in the country of the sponsor Rotary district.
Although applicants are asked to list their preferred study locations, the Foundation Trustees reserve the right to make assignments to any suitable institution to ensure the widest possible geographical distribution of scholars. Candidates must be flexible in their study institution assignments.

Gerstner Scholars Program

Generously funded by the Gerstner Family Foundation, the Gerstner Scholars program will encourage and support groundbreaking research in biology, with an emphasis on genomics, including such topics as microbes, mammals, invertebrates, marine life, and computational biology. The work of scholars at AMNH co-supported through this competitive program will have implications for such broad themes as: human and medical research that is informed by understanding the scientific composition and behavior of other species; and advancing our understanding of the evolution and diversity of species and the “tree of life.”

The Claude S. Weiler Scholarship for Amputee College Students
