Description:
By sponsoring a scholarship for students majoring in English, Scholarships.com hopes to make paying for college simpler. Winners of the Scholarships.com English Scholarship can win $1,000 to pay for their post-secondary education. To apply, just respond to the following question in a 250 to 350 word essay (entries that fall outside of this word range will be disqualified):
“What has influenced your decision to pursue a career in English?”
Eligibility:
- U.S. citizen
- Registered user of Scholarships.com
- Undergraduate student currently enrolled or a high school senior who plans to enroll in a college or university in the coming academic year
